NeighborUp - Help for Today. Hope for Tomorrow.

In 2025, Dorcas Ministries and Western Wake Crisis Ministry merged, giving rise to a new organization—NeighborUp. A shared legacy and mission to help our neighbors, built on decades of compassion and service to our community, strengthened our ability to serve deeper and broaden our impact. Together, with over 1,300 dedicated volunteers, hundreds of faithful donors, and numerous community partners, we can continue to provide help for today and hope for tomorrow to thousands of neighbors each year.  We equip and empower our neighbors in need with basic essentials and valuable skills so they can continue their journey toward success - building a community where every neighbor thrives.

At Horse and Buddy, our mission is to enrich the lives of individuals with diverse needs through equine assisted services and activities in a safe, caring, and accepting environment. Our vision is to be a center of excellence in the field, transforming lives in our community.  We pledge the following:
